Kid Camp - Learn to Sew!
Join Lisa Walker and learn the basics of sewing! Children ages 9 and up with little or no sewing experience will learn about the parts of the sewing machine, how to thread the machine, wind and insert the bobbin, sewing straight lines, curved lines, and turning corners. Our class project after learning the basics will be a pillowcase.
Students will be using a hot iron with supervision.
If you need to borrow a sewing machine, please contact the shop. We have a few to lend - but need to know in advance.
Students will need basic sewing supplies and fabric for the pillowcase. A supply list is available at the store.
All supplies and fabric for the class are 10% off at Katie B's.
Minimum of 2 students required. You will be notified if class doesn't make.
Students must cancel at least 7 days prior to class for refund or credit.
