Beginning Paper Piecing - Carrefour Stained Glass Quilt
The quilt name, Carrefour, comes from the French word for the crossroads which emerge as you sew these colorful paper-pieced blocks together. This quilt is easy enough for quilters just getting started with paper piecing.
Come join us to receive instruction on this paper-piecing technique while making this beautiful quilt. No previous knowledge of paper-piecing is required. With a proper paper-piecing technique, you should not lose your points and you do not have to be precise with your cutting of fabric. Also you do not have to worry about your ¼ inch seams. All you have to do so sew on a straight line.
Be sure to get a list of supplies from the Katy B’s as there is some precutting of fabric required. Precutting fabric will allow you more practice on the technique while in class.
